Better Sourcing
Committed to sourcing 100% certified tea in 2026. Approximately 70% of our tea is Rainforest Alliance certified. We are founding members of the Ethical Tea Partnership.
Better People
£7 million invested to support tea growing communities since 2010. Projects include solar lighting, village savings schemes and building schools. Through the ETP and the Point Foundation.
The Point Foundation
Together, we have raised over £750,000 for the Point Foundation in Rwanda via on pack donations and matching donations made on our website. For every pack of teapigs purchased, a donation is sent directly to the Point Foundation.
The Point Foundation supports orphans and vulnerable young people, with a focus on vocational training, inclusive education and sustainable farming. We’re very proud of our relationship with The Point Foundation and are looking forward to seeing this amazing charity grow from strength to strength.
Vocational Training
We helped fund the Mwogo Vocational School in Rwanda through a London pop-up shop.
The centre now trains around 50 students a year in skills like tailoring, hair & beauty, and culinary arts—empowering one of Rwanda’s poorest communities.
teapigs house
Mwogo is also home to teapigs house 2.0, the first of four houses providing accommodation for teachers, visitors, and students with disabilities.
Our long-term partner, Ubumwe Community Center (UCC), based in Gisenyi, focuses on helping people with disabilities discover their abilities.
